There is a profound and ascetic practice handed down in Esoteric Shingon Buddhism.
Those who practice this practice will return the flowing water of the river.
It is said that he possesses the power to move even immovable mountains.
The Yasame Goma ritual at our temple is a major event on par with the fire-walking ritual.
Unlike the outward fire-walking training, the Yakome Goma training is performed within the mountains, where the ajari performs the preliminary training in silent fasting until the day before the Yakome Goma. Lay people join the ajari in the preliminary training and carry out preparations for the Yakome Goma and cleaning and decorating the temple grounds as part of their training.
