Mizuko's Life
When a person is conceived in their mother's womb, they are endowed with something called life from the universe, and as long as their body is connected to this world, it carries "life" within it.
It is truly a sacred event, and for a mother, the ten months leading up to and the actual birth are the greatest undertakings in her life.
During this period, the mother is watched over and helped by those around her, including her father, and she eagerly awaits the day of delivery.
A baby born in this way is truly a blessing.
However, since ancient times, people have prayed to the gods and Buddhas for safe childbirth, and unfortunately, many children were lost through miscarriage or stillbirth. In some cases, women may become pregnant with a child they cannot give birth to and have to have an abortion. Such lives are called Mizuko.
Peace of mind with Mizuko memorial services
In many cases, unborn babies are simply treated and treated at the hospital, with the patient only hearing the results and then the body is never seen.If possible, they would like to act as if nothing had happened, so they are often treated as if there had never been a life there.
However, Mizuko are not placed in a grave that is protected for generations, nor are they memorialized as ancestors of the family. That's right, only the mother and father can acknowledge the existence of Mizuko.

A bottle of milk

Tea leaves (one bag of good quality)
Fruit (three or more kinds, about one serving)

If it is the first water burial, the memorial service will be a little longer.
It will take about two hours for the memorial procedure and memorial service.
After that, please hold a memorial service in accordance with your mother's feelings.

Donations given to temples are originally offered to Jizo according to your feelings, and there is no set amount.
However, many people seem to be anxious because they don't know the approximate cost.
Many people pay between 20,000 and 50,000 yen per memorial service for one spirit, so please use this as a guideline.
If you are unable to provide a donation, please let us know.
The procedures for the Mizuko memorial service and memorial service will be carried out in a proper and respectful manner. The content of the service will not change depending on the amount of the donation, so please carry out the memorial service with your heart.
