This is a pilgrimage for women only. Led by the head of Kanzaki Temple, Yusen, this is a half-day pilgrimage to the 88 temples of Edo, where participants meet and disband on site. Participants casually visit temples in Tokyo in casual attire. However, participants will be required to recite sutras during the pilgrimage, so they will naturally improve their chanting skills. As this is a casual pilgrimage, anyone can feel free to join us, even if they are busy with work, childcare, or elderly care.

About the event

The Edo Imperial Palace's 88 sacred sites are said to have been founded by Priest Shodo (1703-1774) around 1755, modelled on the 88 sacred sites of Shikoku.

This sacred site was opened for people who could not make the pilgrimage to distant places, and even today it is an easy place to visit for those who do not have the time.

I think it's especially perfect for people who want to get away from their daily routine for a little while, such as those raising children, caring for the elderly, people who are busy with work, and freelance women.

This is a women-only pilgrimage, so you can participate without worry. Please feel free to come.
