We live in an age where people are unaware of the need for a funeral conducted by a monk due to the high cost of donations and formalities involved, and consider the funeral to be unnecessary. In this day and age, we want to hold a truly good funeral together with the bereaved family.
In addition, in recent years, ceremonial rites have been omitted or neglected, and there are no opportunities for close relatives to meet, which can lead to loneliness and a lack of awareness of one's roots and ties to one another. We hold valuable memorial services as an opportunity for families and relatives to warm their ties, and as such, we conduct these services as satisfactory ceremonies.

What Kanzakiji Temple undertakes is to perform the rituals in the hope that the soul will be guided by the Buddha to a peaceful destiny. Through this guidance, the deceased draws a line between the secular world and the deceased connects with the Buddha. Looking around the world, there are many funerals that do not provide a formal guidance to the deceased.

Although Kanzaki Temple does not have a parishioner system, we have had close relationships with all of the people for whom we have held funerals and memorial services.
We meet with you at the annual memorial service to ask about your family's situation, and if necessary, we can introduce you to people who have a connection to the temple. Some people also send their children to Terakoya. We believe that even without a temple parishioner system, the relationship between the temple and you can be built on trust.
In such relationships, memorial services are a time when various changes occur at the turning point of bereavement, sometimes forcing one to grieve and sometimes to deal with changes in life. For this reason, we want to hold memorial services that are close to one's heart and serve as turning points in one's heart as time passes.
